Vision and Integrity Will Bring You Money and Connections

Some people just have luck – but they are not many and their accomplishments usually don't feel nearly as satisfying as those of people who put in an honest day's work to achieve their goals. To get where you want to be in terms of business, you need funds and you need connections, or so the popular belief goes. However, we think that there is another way.

Being truthful, hard-working, honest and finding like-minded people would have even better effects than securing connections and extra funding. Here comes an important decision you need to make – should you focus on finding connections or securing extra money? If you ask us, there is a balance, and we will try to advise you on how striking this balance can really influence your long-term business contacts and success.

Finding Funds Means Finding the Right People

If you have a great idea, you can start building it without any funds, or at least so it happens in most cases. As you build, you will catch people's attention and from there, you will be able to find the right contacts.

Contacts, though, mustn't be people with money. They must be individuals who share your vision and are always quite prepared to help you with ideas, brainstorming and more. You don’t need raw cash and the promise to make this money into an even bigger sum.

You need people who will stand by you and discuss the prospects of running a great business. It doesn't come vey simple, but the truth is that all the hard work will pay off. How do you actually meet these right people?

Networking, cold calling, and good honest work. Take this from us. When we first started building our business, we were employees at a company related to our field of expertise. We knew, though, that our efforts were worth much more and we had decided to move on.

We started building our business working as freelancers and contractors. It so happened that overtime our zeal working on each individual project led us to a point where we were in fact helping each client build their business and sought very little financial return.

It's just the sort of mindset we have and that's why, in the past few years, multiple employers have offered us to be part of their teams as equals. We have accepted nearly all proposals. You may think – isn't that a conflict of interest?

No, at the time of accepting different positions, we notified our employers about our positions in other and even competitive companies, and we are still working with everyone today and helping them build their business. Why? Becuse our business is our clients' business.

We have been offered better positions elsewhere, but we have never accepted, because trust and mutual respect is what brought us to the employers that we have worked with.

Money Is Still a Driving Factor

If you cannot collect the money you need yourself, you can always use the resources of your customer or even work for someone else. Remember that you will always need to be honest and respectful of the people you work with and we recommend that you never mislead anyone you work with – this is the basis for a healthy and long-term relationship.

As to the nature of your business, you can be selling nearly anything. If a customer is looking to buy Viagra online, you should be open about in what cases the medicine is used. Many men buy the product because they have anxiety and start taking strong dosages when the weaker ones don't do.

Now, if you are the content manager of one such online business, you needn't be a medical specialist, but you can educate yourself on the topic and look up the fact that 90% of all male erectile dysfunction problems actually have to do with anxiety and some minor psychological disorder.

By being honest with your customers, you will most likely sell more, because you will also help them in the process. This honesty and openness should apply to any dealing you have with other people, so don't underestimate its value.

Final Thoughts on Connections and Finding Money to Start

If you are an honest and conscientious worker with entrepreneurial spirit, you can change the world. We know, because we have been changing the world a small bit at a time. Focus on being open to your customers and results will follow. Business today is not just about amassing funds. It's about being honest with your customers and your partners. Be an investor and an entrepreneur that is on an entirely different level than the majority of people who just care about the money, but have very little vision.
